365: Days 23 - 29

Its was an extremely crazy week for me last week. In addition to the 14 credit hours I am taking at my college, I am a member of the school's choir, Student Senate, and [Apache] Activity Council. This past week was our college's "Welcome Back Week" that AAC puts on each semester. Which meant I was literally on campus every weekday, all day. I did get to shoot the school dance (a rave) which was fun. Then this weekend I played catch-up on homework. So yeah, that is why this post is a day late and I apologize for it.

Let's get started.

Day 23: Dawn

Isn't this absolutely stunning? Me and my boyfriend saw it on the way to school at 7 a.m.

Day 24: Let The Feet Do The Talking

I went into mine and my sister's room to crash and I found my sister on her bunk doing hw like this.

Day 25: A Late Night Affair

Working on U.S. History homework after getting home for the day. Long night ahead.

Day 26: Shopping List?

Apparently the family's shopping list on the fridge consists of what Saige deserves...

Day 27: Colorfully Preppy

I thought my littlest sister's jewelry looked cool and colorful...and preppy.

Day 28: Homework Strikes Again

Working on history homework before I head out to do a senior photo shoot with a client.

Day 29: Weeding

Going through round one of the weeding process. I do a few rounds of weeding before I do any needed post processing.

Hope you enjoyed seeing more of my life in photos.

365: Days 17 - 22

Hello ladies and gents!

Another week has passed us by on earth and thus I captured more images of my life and God's beautiful planet. I hope all of you had a fabulous week wherever that may be and whomever that be with.

Day 17: Library Fun

I'm the person who reads textbooks for fun. Yes, you read that right. These two are extra-curricular reading for me and my latest "steal" from the library at my college.

Day 18: Belltower of Ashes

A cloudy day made the bell-tower and Jenkins (humanities building) at my college look cool.

Day 19: Devotional, RGB Style

RGB is light-based color that computer and other digital devices use to make the images that are on your screen. This is a snapshot of the devotional that I have sent to me by Relevant Magazine. After I took this shot I realizied it could almost be a self portrait by my silhouette on the screen because of the window behind me.

Day 20: Walking Around The Christmas Tree No More

This is how Texans get rid of their Christmas trees (or at least, my family). You take it out back and light a match. It took a total of 45 seconds to burn to a crisp.

Day 21: Wee Hour Sketch

Was sketching at 2am last night. My brain always decides to go on creative highs in the middle of the night. It makes sleep near impossible.

Day 22: Inspiration In The Closet

No ... it's not clothes. I just like having sayings in different places. This is a saying me and one of my sisters (who I share a room with) have in our closet.

Hope you enjoyed!

365: Days 10 - 16

This past week has been great. 2012 wont in any way be like 2011, just like any year wont be like another. I am looking forward to what new memories and discoveries I make this year. Here is my second Project 365 post. This is for days 10 - 16 (January 10th - 16th).

Day 10: Showtime

I met with the man from the ad agency of the local ad newspaper about our front page ad.

Day 11: Pretender

On Christmas (Winter) Break, my college is practically a ghost town. Me and two of my siblings decided to explore and pretend they were hiding in the window.

Day 12: Furry Battles

These two were battling it out in a tree over an acorn. It was pretty funny.

Day 13: Meet-Up

Me and my boyfriend met up with a long-time friend of mine and fellow photographer J.B. Lewis. Mooyah is a diner and they had this huge board you could draw on. Naturally, we did.

Day 14: The Pilot

My sunglasses were 'stolen' by my gentleman on a sunset walk with him and my littlest sister. I think they make him look like a pilot.

Day 15: Pretty In Pink...And Purple

Had to snap a shot of this sunset!

Day 16: Freedom

Me and my gentleman spent the last day of our winter break together before we dove back into classes today. We went for a walk at the lake before seeing War Horse.

Hope you all enjoyed viewing!

Project 365 Kick Off: Days 1 - 9

I haven't attempted this since 2010, but I am doing it this year. In addition to my normal posts regarding my photo endeavors and photography in general, I will be posting a joint post weekly. I have been taking photos a day, but I hadn't had the time to upload them yet. So here is from Jan 1st to today (9th). I am going to post the photos every Monday or Tuesday (at the latest).

For those of you who don't know what Project 365 is. Here is a link to information regarding it.

Day 1: New Beginnings

Fireworks--yay!

Day 2: The Golden Tree

Evening rays give this tree a gold-like appearance.

Day 3: Icecream With A Gentleman

My gentleman got three scoops of icecream. Insane, but he liked it. Hehe.

Day 4: Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Dad's birthday! =)

Day 5: Going Green?

Not really. Just one of those really annoying (or amazingly fun) lights you smack across their face to make them work.

Day 6: Rainbow Rose of Memories

Some of the stuff on top of my dresser. This is the rainbow rose my mother gave me for my twentieth birthday back in October.

Day 7: Puppy (err, Dog) Love

My brothers' dogs. They were in the kennel cause of bad weather.

Day 8: True Grit with Sis

Watching True Grit with one of my sisters.

Day 9: Bed Thief

My mom's dog (who practically stalks me and I babysit like 24/7) named Skipper, always tries to steal my bed at night. This time I caught him with my camera.
